Terms of Service

OfferLane sets clear terms so the product stays useful, fair, and safe to use.

These Terms of Service describe the rules that apply when you access OfferLane, create an account, track applications, manage interview timelines, view pipeline insights, and use the service’s public and authenticated product surfaces.

Effective date: May 25, 2026

Using OfferLane responsibly

OfferLane is provided for organizing and managing your own job-search workflow. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you add, the actions you take based on the product, and how you use exported or copied data outside the service.

Your account and access

You are responsible for maintaining control of your sign-in methods, including email access, passkeys, and any connected authentication provider accounts. Do not share account access in ways that could compromise your data or another user’s privacy.

Service may evolve

OfferLane is an actively evolving product. Features, workflows, pricing, availability, and integrations may change over time as the team improves the service, addresses security needs, or responds to product and legal requirements.

These terms are intended as a practical product policy for OfferLane’s current service. They are not legal advice to you, and you should consult your own counsel if you need advice about your legal rights or obligations.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using OfferLane, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms apply to your use of the OfferLane website, authenticated product surfaces, job-tracking tools, timeline workflows, feedback tools, and related pages or services made available by OfferLane.

Eligibility and account responsibilities

You may use OfferLane only if you can form a binding agreement and are permitted to use the service under applicable law. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your authentication methods secure.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, you should stop using the affected session and contact OfferLane through the support or contact method published in the product or on the website.

Using the service

OfferLane gives you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose: tracking applications, organizing interview progress, reviewing pipeline activity, and managing related job-search information.

You agree not to misuse the service. That includes attempting to disrupt the app, bypass authentication or access controls, reverse engineer protected parts of the system where prohibited by law, scrape data at abusive volumes, or use OfferLane to store or transmit unlawful or harmful content.

Your content

You retain responsibility for the information you submit to OfferLane, including job applications, company and role details, notes, links, and feedback submissions. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content and to use it with the service.

You grant OfferLane the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, display, and otherwise operate on that content solely to provide and improve the service.

Product insights, recommendations, and no job guarantee

OfferLane may present workflow suggestions, pipeline insights, reminders, or status-oriented recommendations based on the information you store. These are product features intended to help you stay organized; they are not professional, legal, recruiting, or employment advice.

OfferLane does not guarantee interviews, offers, hiring outcomes, recruiter responses, or the accuracy of third-party job information that you choose to save in the product.

Availability and changes

OfferLane may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, including to make product improvements, perform maintenance, respond to security issues, or comply with legal obligations.

The team will generally try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but OfferLane is not liable for temporary unavailability or feature changes made in good faith.

Termination

You may stop using OfferLane at any time. OfferLane may suspend or terminate access if the service is misused, if these terms are violated, if required by law, or if continued access would create security, operational, or legal risk.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions about ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related terms, will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

OfferLane is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that extent, OfferLane disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

Because job-search outcomes depend on many factors outside OfferLane’s control, you use the service at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OfferLane and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any total liability of OfferLane for claims arising out of or relating to the service will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, to OfferLane for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

OfferLane may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are material, OfferLane may revise the effective date, publish the updated version on the site, or provide additional notice in the product when appropriate.

Your continued use of OfferLane after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Contact OfferLane about these terms
